BIRMINGHAM ‘BIG HOOT’

Saturday 11th April 2015 at the Soho House Museum, Soho Avenue (off Soho Road), Handsworth, Birmingham B18 5LB

Soho Finger Community Programme invite you to get involved in the Birmingham ‘Big Hoot’ Soho Finger Community Programme. In this first open workshop, residents will work with the artist and community organisations to inspire the Owl for their neighbourhood.

Symbolic of Wisdom and migration , the Owl is a celebration of Birmingham’s   diverse communities.

Indicative Workshop Agenda:

10.00  Registration, Tea/Coffee, a short tour and introduction to Soho house for first time visitors

10.30  ‘The Big Hoot’ – Wild in Art , Octavius and the Artist

11.00  Group work- Inspirations, Drawings and Designs

12.15   Break and refreshments

12.30   Looking at the inspirations and 3 choices of design

1pm     End of workshop
