THE RIGHT HOSPITAL AND THE RIGHT SIZE? (Review of the Metropolitan Hospital PF2 Project)

You are invited to the launch of the Independent Review of Midland Metropolitan Hospital PF2 Project
Come and hear about the clinical and financial flaws in the privately-funded £335m project to build the Midland Metropolitan Hospital. This is a must for anyone concerned about the NHS and social care in the region.

We are pleased to announce that we will have the report’s author, Dr. John Lister of London Health Emergency, to present the report. There will be an opportunity to ask questions and get involved in our ongoing campaign.
When: Wednesday, 15 June 2016 from 18:30 to 20:30
Where: Birmingham and Midland Institute, Margaret Street, Birmingham, B3 3BS

If you live in or around North Birmingham & Sandwell come along to this event. It’s an independent review of our new hospital commissioned by Keep Our NHS Public Birmingham. Interested individuals are encouraged to book onto the Midland Met Hospital Independent Review event via this Eventbrite link:

It’s really easy and takes about 30 seconds.

The proposed Midland Metropolitan Hospital is due to open in 2018 and will replace City and Sandwell General Hospitals.  The 670 bed hospital will be built on a brownfield site on Grove Lane in Smethwick.  It will be the first Hospital in the country to be built under the Government’s revised PF2 scheme.

With thanks to Keep Our NHS Public Birmingham.
