HANDSWORTH CHOIR IS BACK

Great news, Handsworth Community Choir is back. As before, everyone is welcome.

You don’t need any prior singing experience, you don’t need to be able to read music, and you certainly don’t need to have the world’s greatest voice! There are no auditions. Everyone can sing: you just need enthusiasm – and to be willing to give it a go.

The choir is open all residents of the Handsworth area aged 18 or over.

Weekly rehearsals are on on Thursdays from 6.00pm – 7.30pm in the Red Hall at Rookery School.

As well as the weekly choir rehearsals at Rookery School, there will be a Come and Sing Day at Cardinal Wiseman to recruit people for a second choir in Oscott – singers are invited to this day as well as it will be a little different.

They are also planning to support the Lantern Parade in Handsworth Park on 7th March so this is listed here with times to be confirmed.
