1MORE SUMMER ACTIVITIES
– Ceramic Art Exhibition and drop in workshop on Sunday 15th June 2pm to 6pm at 32 Somerset Road, Handsworth. Free entry. Children welcome with parents/carers. Come and meet the artists – Kerry Williamson, Justyna Sarsari, Craig Underhill and Perry Walmsley-Pitts and have a go at making your own clay art work. This is a Perry Barr Local Arts Forum event.
– The Black Family Reading Group are organising an arts and crafts market on Saturday 5th July outside Handsworth Library on Soho Road and they’re looking for people who might want to have a stall. Tables cost £15 for the day – 10am to 4pm, and tables will be provided. If you’re interested in having a stall please email jennifer.startin@birmingham.gov.uk or phone 0121 464 0481
– Funday at Handsworth Park at the Sons of Rest, on Sunday 13th July, noon to 4pm. There will be lots of activities for all ages to enjoy – some will be provided by the rangers.
– New Toddler Trundle – fitness for parents and carers and under 5s, every Tuesday at 10am at the Sons of Rest building (at the same time as the Tai Chi session). This is run by the Handsworth Park rangers.
