BIRMINGHAM POP UP TALENT South & City College Birmingham (Handsworth)
Thursday 27th March, 12noon-3pm, South & City College Road, Handsworth
Come down to try taster sessions from local employers, and to talk to real working people about their work journeys, as well as asking any questions you might have in an informal and friendly environment.
This is a great opportunity for young people to see and engage with work in a new way, as well as for local working people to inspire and motivate young people into an industry that they may not have thought about before, as well as advising them on the path to take.
“The aim of Pop Up Shops is to provide activities and connections that will stimulate interest in work and education and refer onto our Talent Generator activities. In addition to our need to focus on learning from works at this early stage of the programme, a lot of the shop spaces are small and we’d like them to be fully available for the young people and employers that we are building a relationship with.”
