1ANTROBUS ROAD CLEAN UP
The next clean up morning for 2014 will be on Saturday 8th February, 11.am -1.30pm on Antrobus Road.
The second morning last year was successful, attracting increasing interest and support from residents (they filled a skip’s worth of rubbish).
They are going to continue with their campaign activity about rubbish in the street: leaflets, picking up stuff and talking to people. If anyone can join them, for any length of time, do come along. All support will be gratefully received.
There will be a skip on the street around no. 50 near the alleyway, and they will be starting at the Grove Lane end of the street.
The Lozells &East Handsworth ward Councillors have given their approval for this skip as Handsworth Wood Councillors agreed to the last one. All have been very supportive towards the residents’ efforts to keep their neighbourhoods clean and tidy.
